Nicole was fantastic. She went above and beyond to protect our interests throughout the process. She arranged a thorough inspection which thankfully discovered some termite issues before closing. Then she helped to negotiate with the sellers to cover closing costs and reduce the sale price to compensate for the repair work required for the damage. While Omar Vidal is personable on a surface level, I absolutely do not recommend working with him as a real estate agent. It took me most of the way through my home search to fully recognize the self-interested nature of his approach, and by the time it became clear, I was already too far along in a transaction to comfortably switch agents. That turned out to be a costly mistake. Omar demonstrated a poor understanding of appraisal values—or, worse, consistently pushed for the highest possible purchase price in a way that appeared aligned with maximizing his own commission rather than protecting the buyer. He also referred me to a mortgage broker whose fees were extremely high; thankfully, I independently shopped around and avoided that outcome. The inspector he recommended missed serious issues, including critical foundational concerns. Among other problems, the inspector did not even enter the crawl space, which led to significant oversights that should never happen in a proper inspection. Overall, I never felt that my best interests were being prioritized at any point in the process. Buying a home is one of the largest financial decisions most people will ever make, and I strongly believe buyers deserve better guidance, transparency, and advocacy than what I received here. I would strongly advise others to avoid working with Omar Vidal.
