She is the kind of person who can literally be the difference between getting the house you want and losing it — and in our case, she was. When the house we ended up buying hit the market, Stephanie was there right when the open house started so we could see it immediately and get an offer in before anyone else. Timing mattered tremendously, she knew it, and then negotiated the deal to prevent anyone else from touring the home. We genuinely would not have gotten the house without Stephanie. As a first time home buyer, I had no idea what I was doing. I initially reached out to another realtor who had been referred to me by someone I knew, but they didn’t respond to my text until the following afternoon. In Charleston, time is everything if you want to find the right home at a good price. He was eager to answer my questions and schedule a showing at 7pm the night I reached out to Matt O’Neil Real estate. I have had some experiences with other realtors not answering their texts somewhat promptly, I never had that issue with Stephen. Stephen was extremely attentive, supportive, and never came across as salesy. From the beginning, I felt like he genuinely wanted what was best for me. He honestly reminded me of a dad who was just looking out for my best interests every step of the way. Buying a home comes with a lot of stress, but Stephen stayed calm, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. He got me into contact with loan officer, Cole Hall, who was also AMAZING! Anthony did an outstanding job helping me tour, find a great deal and negotiate key things into my experience. I initially was referred to him by another agent and couldn't be happier with the referral. Anthony helped me secure a new construction deal with all of my closing costs covered, a move in package, rate buy down, and a GOLF CART. Not only did he help me get a good deal, but he pressed the builder and advocated for me to get an inspection on the new build. Because of this, the inspector found key things that were missed that would have pushed back my close date which would have cost me money extending my rate.
