Michael Michael Franco at Compass deserves 10 stars as he gets 5 stars in selling our apt and another 5 for finding our new apartment. He’s truly the best real estate agent in Manhattan market. Would highly recommend him as real estate is the most valuable asset in your portfolio. I met with Michael Franco in July last year to discuss the possibility of listing my apartment for sale. He had sold quite a few apartments in my building, the butterfield house. He came totally prepared with comps in my building in last 3 years of sale plus neighborhood comps as well. There was a total marketing package from online drops, to photography guidance, email blasts to exclusive listings etc. Michael’s estimate was in line with other brokers who I had interviewed. His professionalism and demeanor and well thought out strategy won me over. We had agreed on listing the apartment once I found and closed on a new apartment. So I also engaged Michael in searching for a new home for us. He had me setup with compass exclusive listings as well. We saw 14 apartments and he was always pleasant and explained to us the merits or perils of certain buildings. He was also very instrumental in helping us decide on the offering price and negotiation process. We were able to find a beautiful apartment in less than 6 weeks. He also recommended a great closing lawyer and a contractor(after interviewing 4 other contractors, we went with his recommendation and they did a phenomenal job on time n budget). That’s just who Michael is : only recommending quality people he’s worked with. The preparation of coop board application n the closing all went without a hitch. We closed in sept. Then in mid oct we listed our apartment. The photography and the marketing had produced great turnout for our open house and resulting in multiple offers above the asking price. Unfortunately the buyer backed out and he was so supportive and resourceful and persistent in lining up other buyers. We did another open house and we secured another full price offer. He did a lot of follow up with the new buyer, his lawyer and agent regarding the coop board application and his assets/income. Ultimately all worked out and closed with approval from a very difficult coop board. So I had experience with Michael Franco in both buying n selling. And he’s truly the top real estate agent and the best in Manhattan real estate market. He and his team including Naomi are detailed, thorough and always respond back in a timely manner. You will be lucky to have him represent you and get the most value in the shortest amount of time and least amount of headaches.

We couldn't have asked for a better adviser when we decided to move to New York with our family. Smart, available, patient, energetic and always going beyond the call of duty. Greg's detailed knowledge of New York's neighborhoods, his ability to provide multiple options and help our decision-making process were really impressive. Greg was an incredible ally, advocate, and friend as we moved to our new home in New York City.
