What changes at this price in Kentucky

Transfer and mansion taxes
Kentucky charges a real estate transfer tax of $0.50 per $500 of value, which is 0.1 percent of the price, paid by the seller when the deed is recorded. Source

Kentucky permits dual agency only with the written consent of both buyer and seller after disclosure, and licensees must provide the Commission's agency disclosure form. Source
Seller disclosure
Kentucky sellers of residential property must complete the Seller's Disclosure of Property Condition form prescribed by the Real Estate Commission when a licensee is involved in the sale. Source
State estate or inheritance tax
Kentucky has no estate tax but levies an inheritance tax. Spouses, children, parents, and siblings are exempt; more distant relatives pay 4 to 16 percent and unrelated heirs pay 6 to 16 percent after small exemptions. Source
